 Enjoy workshops on altering ready-to-wear and on making that little black dress which is a staple of most women’s wardrobe. Stop searching the ready-to-wear racks and learn how to sew a dress that fits like a dream - whether it’s a swingy summer sleeveless, a classic winter-weight sheath with three-quarter sleeves or an elegant cocktail dress. Bring your garments and learn to alter them or just come sew with us. Learn how to alter pants, skirts and dress. Diagnose and fix zippers and hem cuff for women’s and men’s shirts and jackets. Working on a project you need help completing bring it. Bring your machine. Also learn about French designer Givenchy and see some replicas of his work. See our version of that little black dress from “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”.
